2003 Mitsubishi Evolution VIII

500+ Pump Gas Evo Ryan's goal was a 500whp-600whp pump gas Evo, and he had a long list of requirements for the car. Ryan was a model customer and is now an employee! His modification list was all top shelf parts, and we didn't have to talk him out of unsuitable or questionable mods. He nailed it, and made the project really easy for us. He trusted our advise and expertise, and did a ton of homework beforehand.

The heart of his buildup is an AMS 2.3RR Road Racing stroker engine, capped with an AMS Big Valve Ported Cylinder head package, and Tomei 280 cams. This setup is capable of reving to 8500rpm easily. We added an AMS 1000 hp fuel system, 1200cc injectors, AMS intake manifold, and AMS GT37R turbo kit. Tuning was conducted at the hands of Sharif, with a complete HKS Fcon Vpro system. At 26psi we were already seeing mid 500whp levels on pump gas. With plenty more boost on tap, and a race fuel tune pending, we should easily see mid 600whp levels very soon. Ryan has recently decided to convert this car into a dedicated Time Attack machine in the Modified AWD class, so make sure to keep your eyes on us as the Redline Time Attack Series swings around the country.
